chaos and disorder

Sorry for the break in the story…

I need to put this down…I am probably going to go overboard with this…but hey its worth it!

So I stayed in Durban, South Africa for a year. March 2004-March 2005. In that one eyar,I learnt about a whole new culture, an entire continent. I won’t say I know all about it. But I did get a sneak peak into their culture. It was an amazing experience. Somthing which will remain close to my heart.

3 days back, I get a facebook update…a friend from Durban is in town! wooohooo!!!!! My happiness knew no bounds. I was ecstatic! He left his number and I called him back immediately and met yesterday!

It was simply amazing! I couldn’t believe it he was here. We met at campus at Durban. Used to talk a lot on Indian culture and the two countries. He is a South African Indian, hence we had a lot to talk about.

What was unbelievable was we picked up our friendship exactly where we left it!! There was no wierdness, no awkwardness…nothing at all…just pure happiness to see each other after almost 3 years! ( I told you I was going to get overboard with this)

I took him to Bandra, showed him our “beachfront”.He wanted to touch the Arabian sea. Made him wear a kurta:p and finally, took him by a Mumbai local! A mumbai experience is incomplete without commuting in the  aamchi local!

Due to some incidents which are too long to type…we named ourselves…the adventures of Bravery and Stupidity. Obviously I took Bravery before he could…hehe…
